We have LEAGUES!! Welcome to the first season of youth ball hockey in Kamloops! As we are focused on walking before we run, we are offering three leagues U9, U14, U16 this year. U16 will feature one group of 36 split into two teams. U9 and U 14 will each have four teams. All seasons run from May 1 - June 30.

Players will be distributed to teams based on age to ensure an even distribution of players. Each night will consist of practice time to begin and concluding with a game.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR VOLUNTEERS TO HELP COACH! If you are interested in coaching or assistant coaching your child's team, please select that option on the registration form.

Spring 2023 Schedule:

2011-2013 born:  May 1 - June 30, Tuesday/Thursday Evenings 5:30 pm - 6:45 pm
2007-2010 born:  May 1 - June 30, Monday Evenings (there may be one or two Tuesdays because of holidays/availability.)

What your child needs:

All participants must have:

  • Hockey or lacrosse helmet with cage

  • Hockey or lacrosse gloves

  • Hockey stick (can be an ice hockey stick too)

  • Runners

  • Shorts or athletic pants

  • Water bottle (Their own, no sharing!)

  • Shin pads and cup (optional, but recommended)

Ball hockey requires just the essential protective gear.  To find gear for your children, we highly recommend going to Consignor Sports to pick up some used or liquidated gear or Player’s Bench for new gear.  Alternatively, Kijiji and Facebook can be great places to find used kid's gear. Helmets should be more recent to ensure certification and safety.  Shin pads can be soccer shin pads or even ball hockey-specific shinguards.
